The thing I like about this story is that in offering to become a vampire in Jessica’s place, Sookie is forced to work though a lot of her trust issues and anger. I like how My Universe makes Sookie acknowledge when she’s lashing out at Eric because she’s scared. What I’d like to see more of in later chapters is Eric learning how to trust and care. It’s coming a little too easy for him now. Hopefully this can happen when The Russell issue is addressed. Also, I love stories that don’t kill off Godric.
